Change Makers is open to anyone aged 18 years and over who are willing to volunteer their time, energy, and/or skills to work on projects run all year round by the Youth Work Team, this includes our annual event Youth Beatz.
What are Change Makers?
Change Makers are an integral part of this year’s Youth Work Nithsdale Summer Events, including Youth Beatz and Youth Fest, it is an opportunity for people to be involved and take on new and exciting opportunities never seen before! Youth Beatz is Scotland’s biggest free youth music event, now in its fifth year and is aimed at young people 12 – 25 years offering activity based entertainment, youth services information and stage performances from local and national music acts. The event has grown in size and in attendance every year and since 2009 has attracted over 46,000 people to Dumfries.
Youth Fest is a brand new 8 day youth festival held in the lead up to Youth Beatz. Over the 8 days, there will be different themes, offering new and exctiting activites to young people throughout Scotland
